YEREVAN. – Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, who is in New York City within the framework of the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly, on Tuesday met with David Choquehuanca, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia.

They discussed bilateral relations as well as cooperation within the framework of international organizations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The interlocutors also attached importance to the establishment of friendship groups in the parliaments and the holding of regular consultations between the foreign ministries of two countries.

Separately, Nalbandian expressed gratitude for the Armenian Genocide recognition by both houses of the Bolivian legislature back in 2014. He stressed that this was the Bolivian people’s important contribution to the fight for international recognition of crimes against humanity.

In addition, Nalbandian and Choquehuanca exchanged views on the current regional and international matters.
