An Armenian teen from Glendale, in the US State of California, was killed in a motorcycle collision on a freeway, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The 16-year-old motorcyclist, identified by coroner’s officials as Eric Sarokhanian, was straddling two lanes at 70 mph when his motorcycle rolled over and collided with a sedan, said acting Sgt. Cheyenne Quesada of the California Highway Patrol.

He was reportedly ejected from his bike and into another freeway lane, where he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

Authorities were dispatched to the scene, where the teen was pronounced dead.
