Militants of the Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack in Baghdad which killed more than 30 people, SITE portal monitoring publications of terrorists on the web reported.

Earlier it was reported that 31 were killed and 65 more were injured at a Shiite funeral ceremony in Baghdad.

Terrorists stated that as a result of the ISIS suicide bombers terrorist attack in total of 100 people were killed or injured, RIA Novosti reported.

The explosion occurred near the Shaab in northern Baghdad.

A tent for commemoration of the grandson of Prophet Muhammad, the Shiite imam Hussein killed in the 7th century has been established in the local market. The suicide bomber entered into the crowd and blew himself up.
