YEREVAN. - The Eastern Partnership is important for both the EU countries and the six countries participating in it.
Deputy Secretary General of the European External Action Service, Jean-Christophe Belliard, said the aforementioned at the joint press-conference in Yerevan, summing up the results of the eighth non-official meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Eastern Partnership countries.
He expressed conviction that the EU can become a bridge between the 28 European countries and six member-states of the program. According to him, the program is characterized by specific actions, development of ties between the peoples, infrastructure development, effective governance, as well as establishment of democracy and fight against corruption.
