YEREVAN. – Estonia’s new Ambassador to Armenia, Kai Kaarelson—whose diplomatic residence is in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi, on Friday presented a copy of her credentials to Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
FM Nalbandian wished Ambassador Kaarelson success in her important mission of establishing closer relations between the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The Estonian diplomat, for her part, assured that she will do her utmost to develop cooperation.
At the ensuing talk, the interlocutors discussed numerous matters that are on their bilateral agenda, including collaboration in several domains. They also reflected on the avenues for intensifying parliamentary contacts, and expanding the legal framework.
In addition, the Armenian FM and the Estonian ambassador exchanged views on Armenia-European Union cooperation.
