Deployment of ballistic missiles in Kuril Islands by Russia should not affect development of Russia’s bilateral relations with Japan, reports Life, referring to the announcement of the Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

"I recommend to direct this issue (deployment of missiles) to our colleagues in the Ministry of Defence, it undoubtedly has its justification. At the same time, from our perspective, it should not affect the trends that exist in our bilateral relations with Tokyo," said the Russian president's press secretary.
