Belarus is interested in processing Azerbaijani oil at its own factories, reports TASS, referring to the statement of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

"Yet since Soviet times, our country has been managing a developed petrochemical complex. These enterprises are characterized by high technological level, deepness of oil refinement, and high quality of oil products. More than 70 percent of the Belarusian petrochemical products are sold at foreign markets. Therefore, refining Azerbaijani oil in our factories is of great interest for us, "Lukashenko said.

He also stressed, that organization of such a work will significantly expand cooperation between two countries in chemical industry.
