The Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan have discussed settlement of the Syrian crisis, writes the Kremlin’s website. The telephone conversation was initiated by the Turkish side.
"There took place a constructive exchange of views on the settlement of the Syrian crisis," the statement says. State leaders also discussed topical issues in Russian-Turkish political and economic cooperation.
