The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a rally in Istanbul, announced that the European Parliament should understand that it is not him that rules Turkey, but the government, reports Anadolu. "To urge Turkey not to struggle against terrorist organizations, when we are faced with terrorism every day, is equivalent to handing over the country to terrorists," Erdogan said.

He sharply criticized the European Parliament for adopting a resolution on freezing negotiations on Turkey's EU accession.  “EP, know your place. This country is governed not by the European Parliament, but by another government, "Erdogan said. According to him, the migration crisis shows the extent the European countries can move from humanity and human values.
