In the framework of the 2016 bilateral cooperation plan between Armenia and Greece, the delegation led by Defense Minister of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan paid an official visit to Greece Monday.
After the official welcome ceremony in the Ministry of National Defense of Greece, the Armenian and Greek delegations met in an expanded format. Thereafter Armenian Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan had a tête-à-tête with his Greek counterparty Panagiotis Kammenos. Issues related to the bilateral Armenian-Greek cooperation in the defense sphere were discussed at the meeting.
Highly appreciating the present level of cooperation, the sides agreed on the deepening and expansion of the bilateral cooperation and exchange of experience in a number of areas of mutual interest.
Issues related to the regional and international security were also discussed at the meetings.
By the end of the talks, Vigen Sargsyan and Panagiotis Kammenos met with media representatives to answer a number of questions of interest to reporters and sum up the results of the bilateral talks.
