ANTELIAS. – Lebanese Minister of State for the Fight against Corruption, Nicolas Tueini, on Saturday paid a visit to Catholicos Aram I of the Armenian Church Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia—in Antelias, Lebanon—of the Armenian Apostolic Church. 

The main objective of the minister’s visit was to get Aram I’s blessing for the new post he received in the Lebanese Cabinet, the Catholicosate informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the talk, Tueini also informed Catholicos Aram I about his future plans and activities.

The Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, for his part, congratulated the minister on his appointment, and expressed his well wishes for peace and prosperity in Lebanon, in 2017.
