The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, told the aforesaid to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
“I see no contradiction here. As you said, yes, we are a CSTO member—not only the most active one but also one of its founders. As to NATO, we are not a member, but we cooperate quite successfully within the framework of the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP). That says it all. The attempts to cast shadow on a dead fence are absolutely groundless and not based on anything. Those who try to do this pursue quite different goals but in vain,” the FM noted.
