A group of 100 people held an unauthorized picket and demonstration leading to clashes with police in the Turkish city of Mardin. The protestors were chanting slogans in support for Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan.
Police tried to break up a rally using tear gas and water-jet, Radical reported. In response protestors stoned the police officers.
Policemen detained activists and 5-year-old child. It caused tensed situation in the city, as the local citizens demanded that the child should be released.
