Within the framework of his visit to Istanbul, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip.
The details of this close to two-hour meeting, however, are not made public.
But some of the topics discussed may have been the US assistance to Syrian Kurds, and US-based Turkish cleric Fethullah Gülen’s extradition to Turkey—which Ankara attempts to achieve, according to Hürriyet (Liberty) daily of Turkey.
