YEREVAN. – Yerevan interested in normalization of relations between Moscow and Tbilisi.

Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Eduard Sharmazanov, said the aforementioned at a press conference on Wednesday.

He recalled that Armenia and Georgia have traditional good-neighborly relations, and that all matters between them can be resolved through talks.

In Sharmazanov’s words, steps are taken to make Armenian-Georgian relations grow deeper.

“We are interested in normalization of Russian-Georgian relations; Armenia will only benefit as a result of positive changes,” the Armenian parliament deputy speaker added in the context of regional ties. “And if something depends on us [in this regard], we are ready to make an effort [to this end].”
