US President Donald Trump left the reception in honor of the APEC leaders before its end, leaders of Russia and US did not communicate during the dinner, RIA Novosti reported.

Trump left the hall before the end of the reception, after takins some  photos with leaders of other countries. During the dinner, Trump, like Putin, communicated with the closest neighbors at the table.

Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump greeted each other at an APEC summit in Vietnam, shook hands and exchanged a few words. Trump approached Putin at a photo session of world leaders in the Vietnamese city of Danang and gave him a friendly slap on the shoulder.
