Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s speech on the occasion of 20th anniversary of Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) was a speech of an oppositionist, Coordinator of Armenian National Congress Levon Zurabyan told the reporters on December 21. Referring to the recent resignations, he stressed interesting developments are underway in the country.

“Serzh Sargsyan admitted corruption and bribery are the gravest impediments in the country. It is noteworthy the president came up with unprecedented bright ideas in his third year in office,” Zurabyan stressed.

Meanwhile, Zurabyan emphasized the President did not give any explanation why principles of criminalization were laid down and the political-economic system was subordinated to officials’ illegal enrichment since his years as a President.

“Serzh Sargsyan joined Armenian opposition’s struggle against mafia structure,” ANC representative said, stressing the President’s steps are half-steps and are not aimed at implementing democratic reforms in the country.
