STEPANAKERT. – The operative situation along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces remained relatively quiet, from December 3 to 9.
But during this time, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire around 150 times by firing more than 1,500 shots toward the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) military positions, press service of the Artsakh Ministry of Defense (MOD) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In addition to shooting weapons, the adversary fired one shell from a rocket-propelled grenade launcher, at the northeastern sector of the line of contact.
