Venezuelan Government is ready to sign an agreement with the opposition, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said on Sunday, El Universal reported.
The dialogue between the government and the Venezuelan opposition begins to find a way to peace and coexistence, so the Venezuelan government is ready to sign an agreement with the opposition, said Maduro.
President expressed hope that opposition would arrive in Santo Domingo and participate in the negotiations.
As reported earlier, the opposition expressed its willingness to participate in the negotiations, but set a number of conditions, including the creation of a balanced National Electoral Council, participation of international observers in elections, right to vote for Venezuelans outside the country, reconsideration of banning of the opposition from the political competition and equal rights to campaigning.
