Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan invited Argentinean President Cristina Elisabet Fernández de Kirchner to Yerevan.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian confirmed the invitation at the meeting with Argentinian Minister of Foreign Relations Hector Timerman, RA Foreign Office press service informed NEWS.am.

The sides had an in-depth discussion on bilateral cooperation, including the intensification of the political dialogue, the enhancement of contractual underpinnings, as well as development of economic and cultural ties.

Nalbandian expressed content with the opening of the Armenian Embassy in Argentina in 2010.
