According to the information at Haykakan Zhamanak daily’s disposal, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will soon continue staff changes.
According to the source, Governor of Kotayk region Kovalenko Shahgaldyan will be removed and Deputy Chief of RA Police Sashik Safyan will be appointed to the post.
Armenian Chief of Police Alik Sargsyan is likely to replace Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan, whereas Chief of Yerevan Police Nerses Nazaryan will be appointed Chief of Armenian Police, the daily writes.
Armenian Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan is also rumored to be relieved. Secretary of Armenian National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan is likely to be appointed to the post, whereas Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan will replace Baghdasaryan. The most likely candidate for Defense Minister’s post is Deputy Defense Minister David Tonoyan, the source says.
