“Rumors on my appointment to the post of Prosecutor General of Armenia, is nonsense,” Secretary of Armenian National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan told a press conference on Wednesday. According to him, the statement contains no shred of truth.

“To talk and spread nonsense is one of the most negative phenomena in the Armenian reality. I have repeatedly refuted such reports, however, I am asked the same question again,” Baghdasaryan said.

Commenting on the reporters’ observations that “Orinats Yerkir” Party (Rule of Law) lacks eligible candidates and for this reason ministers join the party at the last moment, Baghdasryan stressed: “Rule of Law Party is in the limelight of Armenia’s political life and is one of major players in the country’s political arena. In 2010, 7,400 members joined our party and we are proud achievers become our party members. Referring to the new OYK Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan, Baghdasaryan said: “He is immensely experienced in management. The evidence thereof is ArtFood company headed by Karapetyan.”
