The Iraqi Air Force launched a series of strikes on ISIS positions in Syria.

Russian News Agency TASS reported the aforementioned citing the press service of Iraqi PM, commander of the country’s armed forces, Haider al-Abadi.

The respective press release states that these airstrikes targeted the terrorists’ command unit in Syria.

The Iraqi PM had given the order for this military operation.
