Turkey’s ambassador to Washington is returning after being recalled two weeks ago following a U.S. decision to move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, Turkish NTV reported.
According to the source, Turkish Ambassador to the U.S. Serdar Kilic is heading back to Washington ahead of Turkey-US meeting on Syria’s Manbij.
As reported earlier, Turkey recalled its ambassador for consultations after the official opening of the U.S. embassy amid ongoing Palestinian protests in the Gaza region.
