Armenia slipped down seven spots in the Global Peace Index (GPI) 2018 compared with that of the last year, being ranked 120th out of 163 countries.
Georgia is the 102nd, Azerbaijan -132nd, Turkey - 149th.
Iceland was ranked the most peaceful country worldwide in 2018, followed by New Zealand and Austria. Syria is at the opposite end of the scale, along with Afghanistan and South Sudan.
