One of the investigators in Domodedovo blast refuted press reports saying two suicide bombers were behind the terrorist attack.

One suicide bomber from 30 to 40, most likely with European appearance, set off the bomb, representative of investigation committee told ITAR-TASS. Body fragments were seriously deformed, but it is yet possible to identify them with help of forensic examination. The device contained the equivalent of 2 to 5 kg of TNT.

Spokesperson for Domodedovo Yelena Galanova said the airport should not bear responsibility for the attack.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, a blast rocked international section of Moscow’s Domodedovo airport. The death toll reached 35 people. The number of injured is still rising, at the moment 180 injured are reported. Bodies of nine people were identified. According to preliminary information, citizens of UK, Italy and France were killed. Four Armenians were injured in a blast.
