Patrick Balkany, Deputy Mayor of the French city of Levallois-Perret, called “nonsense” criticism regarding urban management voiced by Patrick Devedjian.

French official of Armenian descent, Devedjian said that “the city of is one of the major debtors of France” warning the regional control chamber is on instant alert”, Le Figaro reported.

Unpleasant remarks by Devedjian are uninteresting, deputy mayor said in an interview with JDD.fr. website, adding “I do not want to argue with a man of the past”. He claims the city of Levallois-Perret was modernized and has no problems with payments.

Patrick Devedjian, President of the General Council of Hauts-de-Seine, has been at odds with Patrick Balkany for a long time.
