Public service corporations are Armenia`s major employers. According to the report released by the RA State Revenues Committee, the Electric Network of Armenia Company is the country`s largest employer, with a 7,602-member staff.

ArmRusgasprom (5,993 employees) and the South Caucasus Railway (4,332 employees) rank 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Among the top ten companies are ArmenTel (3,210), Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine (3,138), Haypost (3,127), Nairit (3,022), K-Telcom (1,868), ArmWaterSewerage (1,842) and the Armenian nuclear-power plant (NPP) (1,774).

Armenia`s second largest taxpayer, the Alex Grig Company, ranks 12th (1,486 employees). The company belongs to the Parliament member Samvel Alexanyan.

The third mobile operator, Orange Armenia, has 333 employees. The Star Divide supermarket is the leader among its counterparts (1,275 employees).

Ardshininvestbank the first among Armenian banks - 1,203 employees.

The Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University has 801 employees. It is a higher school with the largest administrative staff.
