YEREVAN. – The last part of a gala concert which will be held within the framework of the Francophonie summit on October 11 will be dedicated to Charles Aznavour, general secretary at Armenia's Foreign Ministry Vahan Melikyan said.
“The Armenian nation is mourning the death of Aznavour,” said Melikyan, who is heading the working group dealing with the organization of the summit.
The concert will consist of three parts, and the last one will be dedicated to Charles Aznavour.
“We planned that maestro will take part. We will dedicate this part of the concert to Aznavour,” he said.
The Armenian side is in touch with the Élysée Palace. I am not excluding that world stars would express their willingness to participate in the concert,” he added.
