YEREVAN. – Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan received Bulgarian Ambassador Maria Pavlova Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchieva and Military Attache, Lieutenant Colonel Yancho Komitova, Defense Ministry’s press service reported.
The sides discussed the defense bilateral cooperation.
David Tonoyan highlighted the current level of cooperation and noted that Bulgaria is one of the European leaders cooperating with Armenia.
The Defense Minister also noted the possibilities of developing cooperation in a number of areas, including the military police, military education, human resource management, exchange of experience.
The envoy, in her turn, expressed the willingness of the Bulgarian side to deepen cooperation and expressed the hope that its results will be tangible in the near future.
The sides touched upon the issues of regional security.
