While OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs are making statements, expressing their concern over attempts to shift Karabakh conflict resolution to other instances, Azerbaijan is making another attempt. It is not Azerbaijan’s attempts that are surprising. Rather it is the organizations that declare their support to the OSCE Minsk Group’s efforts, but try to speculate on the Karabakh issue within the organization.

According to Azerbaijani mass media, Baku is attempting to discuss the Karabakh issue at NATO Parliamentary Assembly. The discussion of the draft resolution on Nagorno-Karabakh was removed from the agenda of winter session of NATO PA at the request of the Azerbaijani side, conditioned by the parliamentary elections in the country in late 2010.

However, the draft resolution remains on the agenda and discussions will be held at winter session of NATO PA in Varna, on May 27-30.

As reported previously, Azerbaijan withdrew an anti-Armenian resolution from the agenda of the 64th session of the U. N. General Assembly in 2010.
