A Turkish court issued an arrest warrant for 18 Saudis suspected of involvement in the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, RIA Novosti reported referring to Milliyet.
The court made this decision at the request of the Istanbul Public Prosecutor’s Office. A total of 15 people were in the Saudi Arabian Consulate General at the time of the crime.
Journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who is a US resident and Washington Post columnist, has not been seen since entering Saudi Arabia's consulate in Istanbul on October 2.
As reported earlier, Saudi Arabia has admitted Jamal Khashoggi was killed inside its consulate in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
Khashoggi - a Saudi writer, United States resident and Washington Post columnist - had entered the building on October 2.
