YEREVAN. – The Police of Armenia have provided details on Wednesday evening’s tragic road accident in capital city Yerevan.

A Lexus and a Mercedes crashed at 11:30pm, the Police news service informed.

The driver and a passenger of the Mercedes died on the spot, whereas the female passenger of the Mercedes as well as the two men who were brought out of the Lexus had sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.

And on Thursday at 12:20pm, a man called the police and informed that his vehicle had been stolen.

The police officers who arrived at the scene found out that the Lexus of the man who had called the police had been stolen and had crashed, on Wednesday at around 11:30pm.

An investigation is underway.
