Charges have been filed against the 27-year-old resident of Armenia’s Tavush Province, along the lines of the criminal case into the murder of a woman and her son, in Berd town of the same Province.

As reported earlier, in the early morning hours of Monday, the suspect stabbed two residents of a house in Berd, and they died on the spot from the injuries they sustained. According to the investigation, they were mother and son.

The Investigative Committee of Armenia launched a criminal case into this incident, and on murder charges.

The investigation determined that victims were killed by a resident of Tavush Province, and who was born in 1991.

Criminal charges are brought against him, and the court ruled that he be remanded in custody.

Several forensic examinations have been commissioned.

The investigation is still in progress.
