One person died and four others were injured in a road accident Saturday, in Armenia’s Lori Province.
Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) that, at 2:12pm, the MES 911 emergency hotline received a report that a vehicle had ended up on train tracks nearby Lusaghbyur village, there were injured persons, and rescuers were needed.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
It was found out that the said car had gone off road on the Spitak-Gyumri motorway, and fallen into the nearby small gorge.
The vehicle’s driver—who was born in 1967—died on the spot, whereas the four passengers were taken to Spitak town hospital.
