YEREVAN. – Three people are injured after an ambulance had an accident Saturday in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

At around 1pm, the said vehicle went onto the opposite lane on a highway, and crashed into a natural gas pipeline.

The ambulance driver and two medical staff were taken to hospital.

Shushan Danielyan, head of the Yerevan State Medical University staff, informed on Facebook that, aside from the driver, a physician and a nurse were also in this ambulance.

She noted that the doctor and the nurse were being examined, whereas the driver was undergoing surgery.

“No major problems have been found in the doctor and the nurse, whereas the driver has been diagnosed with internal bleeding,” Danielyan added.
