YEREVAN. – Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang  has sent a message of congratulations to Nikol Pashinyan on his election as Armenia’s PM.

Li Keqiang congratulated Pashinyan “on behalf of the People's Republic of China and personally myself on the occasion of being appointed Prime Minister of Armenia”.

Armenia is a traditional partner of friendly cooperation for China, he said, adding that there has been a firm tendency of development of relations over the recent years.

He pointed to tangible results have been achieved thanks to the joint efforts while implementing “One Belt, One Road” initiative.

The Chinese PM said he is ready to preserve close ties and to take efforts for the stable development of bilateral relations for the strengthening of the practical cooperation in all the areas for the benefit of the both peoples.
