North Korea’s lead negotiator with US for nuclear diplomacy is expected to hold talks with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and may also meet with President Donald Trump during a visit aimed at clearing the way for the second summit of Washington and Pyongyang, Reuters reported.

Kim Yong-chol arrived in Washington on Thursday evening.

He is expected to meet with Pompeo and US President in White House.

The visit is a potential movement in a diplomatic process that could yield an announcement of plans for another summit.
