YEREVAN. – Right after its formation on Friday, the Council of the new National Assembly (NA) of Armenia convened a meeting, during which the new makeup of the NA delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) was decided.

Accordingly, the delegation will be led by NA majority “My Step” Faction member Ruben Rubinyan, Chairman of the parliament’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations.

The new Armenian delegation to PACE will comprise eight MPs, of which four are in the main composition of this delegation.

Aside from Rubinyan, Hovhannes Igityan (“My Step”), Naira Zohrabyan (“Prosperous Armenia” [Party] NA Faction), and Edmon Marukyan (“Bright Armenia” [Party] NA Faction) also are the main members of this delegation.

Vladimir Vardanyan, Sos Avetisyan and Tatevik Hayrapetyan (“My Step”) as well as Mikayel Melkumyan (“Prosperous Armenia”), on the other hand, will be the alternate members of the delegation.
