Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States, Varuzhan Nersesyan, on Wednesday met with Congressman Jim Costa from California, who represents Fresno County—home to a large American Armenian community.

The ambassador expressed gratitude to Costa for his longtime active involvement in the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues.

The interlocutors touched upon the fundamental political changes in Armenia. The Congressman expressed the hope that these reforms will contribute to enhancing Armenian-American trade and economic relations and trigger investments.

Both Ambassador Nersesyan and Congressman Costa highlighted the American Armenian community’s unique role in strengthening friendly Armenian-American relations.
