The staff of the U.S. embassy in Venezuela left the country, Lenta.ru website writes referring to Venezuela's foreign ministry.

U.S. diplomats left Karakas at the schedule time, while Venezuela starts recalling the staff from the diplomatic mission in Washington.

The foreign ministry plans to set up a bureau of interests in each of the capitals to hold talks during 30 days.

As reported earlier, on January 23, opposition leader Juan Guaido declared himself acting president of Venezuela. Maduro blasted these actions as a coup d’etat organized by US and announced that it was severing diplomatic relations with the US.
