The U.S. agencies that were forced to suspend operations for five weeks because of a shutdown will resume work on Monday and will compensate employees for missed paychecks, Reuters reported.
The shutdown was the longest in U.S. history and left around 800,000 people unpaid.
President Trump signed a measure to fund the government for three weeks. Trump said he will declare a state of emergency in February unless he is not satisfied with the results of the bilateral talks over funding of the wall on the border with Mexico.
