President Donald Trump said sending the US military to Venezuela was “an option.”
“Certainly, it’s something that’s on the - it’s an option,” Trump said in an interview with CBS.
Also, the US president said Venezuelan authorities had requested that he meet with the country’s official president Nicolás Maduro, but he had turned down the request for talks.
