A scandal broke out around the Georgian wine brand Khvanchkara. Georgia has no right to sell wine under this brand in the U.S., as “Dozortsev” company has an exclusive right to sell Khvanchkara.
“Gruzpatent” plans to file a suit against using the Georgian brand, Georgia Online reports.
Khvanchkara is a fine naturally semi-sweet red wine made from the Alexandria & Mudzhuretuli grape varieties cultivated in the Khvanchkara vineyards in Racha, western Georgia.
