Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Geneva within the framework of 16th session of the United Nations.

The sides discussed regional issues, including recent developments in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Bahrain and Yemen.

The meeting lasted for 20 minutes. Clinton’s impending visit to Turkey was also on the agenda, but no date was specified, Turkish CNNturk reports.

Turkish mass media has spread information that Clinton will ask the Turkish authorities for assistance in reorganization of states of the Middle East and Northern Africa during her visit to the country.
