YEREVAN. – After the arrival of the plane conducting the Istanbul-Yerevan flight, police officers at Zvartnots International Airport in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan on Saturday detained one of its passengers and took him to the Zvartnots police precinct, according to shamshyan.com.

This person is Iranian citizen Ramin Valadan, 33. An international arrest warrant was issued for him in November 2018, and on the charge pursuant to the Iranian criminal code article on committing fraud.

Valadan has been transferred to the place of confinement of detainees, and the Interpol National Central Bureau in Armenia has been informed of his being found.
