Parliamentary elections are held Sunday in Moldova.

Election by way of  mixed electoral system is conducted in the country for the first time.

The voting will conclude at 9pm local time, and preliminary results are expected to be announced one hour after closing of the election precincts.

Point.news has informed that 106 observers from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries—including Armenia—the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, the CIS Executive Committee, as well as from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Belarus-Russia Union State are monitoring the Moldovan parliamentary election.
