Armenian President Armen Sarkissian received on Wednesday Thales company regional director Paul Remi, Armenian President’s press service reported.

According to the President, during the previous meetings, Thales management discussed opportunities for collaboration.

The President highlighted the high level of education in Armenia as well as a unique market, which includes countries such as Russia and Kazakhstan.

“It is also important to take into account the presence of a large Armenian community in Russia. We are also members of the Eurasian Economic Union with a multi-thousand market,” he added.

The Regional Director, in his turn, noted that Thales is a leading French and European technology company and highlighted the importance of cooperation with Armenia.
