YEREVAN. – The circumstances behind the murder of a man have been ascertained within the framework of the criminal case which the Investigative Committee of Armenia is investigating.

According to preliminary information, on Sunday at around 12:40am, a capital city Yerevan resident had argued with his neighbor on domestic issues, the committee informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Subsequently, the neighbor had fired shots at him with a firearm that was unlawfully in his possession, and the man had died.

The investigative Committee launched a criminal case into this incident.

Several circumstances of this incident have been ascertained.

The neighbor has been detained on suspicion of committing a crime.

The preliminary investigation is still in progress.
