Arakel Ayvazyan, 34, a resident of Ditak village of Armenia’s Ararat Province who was hospitalized on February 20 after a major road accident in the same province, on Thursday died at a hospital in capital city Yerevan.

According to shamshyan.com, law enforcement officials had found out that Ayvazyan’s fellow villager Karine H., 30, also had been hospitalized with him.

On February 20 at around 10pm, a car had gone off road on the motorway leading from Mkhchyan village to Ditak village, hit a thick tree, toppled it, and ended up in a creek.

The driver and passenger had sustained injuries and were taken to Artashat town hospital, and, subsequently, they were transferred to a hospital in Yerevan.
